Student Spotlight: Christina Lampert
Christina Lampert is a present trainee in the Sustainability Management (SUMA) program ( 22) and the director of innovation and development at HowGood, the worlds largest product sustainability database, which assesses the environmental and social effect of active ingredients in products. Being in the SUMA program is truly the first time Ive been surrounded by sustainability similar peers. The energy of the program is required and unequaled to drive sustainable modification in service. The program has actually opened my eyes to how much environmental impact is derived from: 1) the raw materials that a corporation sources for their consumer goods, and 2) the method in which they are sourced.

Christina Lampert is an existing trainee in the Sustainability Management (SUMA) program ( 22) and the director of development and growth at HowGood, the worlds biggest product sustainability database, which examines the environmental and social impact of components in products. She is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and did her undergraduate research studies at Saint Josephs University, where she grew thinking about sustainability as a service strategy. In her extra time, she manages her social channel called the Sustennial Network, a term she trademarked and developed to celebrate the sustainable millennial lifestyle.
What drew you to use to the SUMA program?.
I had actually been operating in software application sales for several years where I became successful in establishing a company case for modification via technology. I believed to myself, “Now I wish to make the service case for sustainability!” I felt that the SUMA program consisted of every ability required in order to do simply that within an organization..
What are some highlights from your time in SUMA? What are some of your preferred courses so far?.
Being in the SUMA program is truly the very first time Ive been surrounded by sustainability similar peers. The energy of the program is unmatched and essential to drive sustainable change in company.
What are a few of your profession goals? How has being a part of the Sustainability Management program affected those aspirations?.
The program has actually opened my eyes to just how much environmental effect is derived from: 1) the raw products that a corporation sources for their durable goods, and 2) the method which they are sourced. I aspire to provide business with visibility into these active ingredient impacts and enable impact reduction through making use of component impact modeling technology. This is something Im fortunate adequate to be doing every day at HowGood. Its safe to state that SUMA has enabled me to land my dream task!
