While many assess the past and quote it farewell, theres a great deal of amazing science to come in the next year. While numerous were enjoying the days between the Christmas and New Year vacations in the US, at JPL we were working to end up sampling activities at Issole. Well soon bid an Auld Lang Syne to the Séítah area.
As lead Mapping Specialist, I get to take pleasure in looking at the road ahead for the rover. Well start by looping back around Séítah east, following our course back towards the Octavia E. Butler Landing site, then curling counter-clockwise to the delta front.
Remember to follow along as we check out with NASAs online rover map that we upgrade every time we drive. My New Years resolution for the objective is to continue bringing you brand-new maps and assist scientists discover the very best rocks for the rover to explore throughout 2022!
