JLL and Nash Bond acted for Woking Shopping. Lucianos dealt direct.
Woking Shopping, which makes up The Peacocks Centre and Wolsey Place, has announced the opening of Lucianos, the dining establishment chain opened by Luciano Pierre White, child of renowned British chef Marco Pierre White. The 4,100 st feet restaurant covers two floorings at 53-55 Commercial Way.
With 62 covers internally, Woking is just the 3rd Lucianos in the nation, joining Dorchester and their recently opened restaurant in Exeter. The brand-new restaurant has a similar fit out to the sets Exeter venue.
Lucianos idea is to sell good quality food, with some dishes prepared exactly the exact same way as when Luciano operated in Michelin star dining establishments, however at a lot more budget-friendly prices. Instead of costing ₤ 40-50, like in the Michelin star restaurants Luciano operated at in the past, meals cost around ₤ 12.50 with a complementary glass of white wine or beer.
The menu centres on classically ready hearty Italian food, using fresh local produce and Italian suppliers for authentic flavours. The core menu will stay mostly the like their other dining establishments, such as their timeless meatball starter meal and Ragu Bolognese staying.
Councillor Ayesha Azad, Leader of Woking Borough Council, included: “It is exceptional news for Woking that such a premium restaurant as Lucianos has made its Surrey debut here. It is a real vote of self-confidence in the town that further boosts Woking as a dining destination and contributes to the numerous reasons Woking is an attractive location to live and work.”
The statement follows the recent opening of Island House, an individually owned 3,500 sq feet dining establishment and bar in Jubilee Square. The dining establishment serves a breakfast to night menu, along with a substantial cocktail, wine and beer list.
