The Winter Olympics of 2022 are here and Maxar Technologies has released satellite images revealing what much of the places in Beijing and around China appear like from space. The winter season video games are occurring in Beijing, the exact same host city as the 2008 Summer Olympics. The opening event kicked off the event Friday (Feb. 4) at 6:30 a.m. EST, although some occasions like curling had currently started previously today. With this being the Winter Olympics, these satellite images have the ability to reveal off cool, big outdoor locations used for sports such as skiing, snowboarding, ski leaping, bobsledding and more. Some images also display what the arenas look like at night.Related: Watch astronauts hold their own Summer Olympics in space with zero-g synchronized swimming and more.
