NASA welcomes the public to take part in the celebration of “International Observe the Moon Night” on Saturday, October 1. This yearly, worldwide public engagement event takes location when the Moon is close to first quarter– a terrific phase for night observing.
This event offers unique chances to observe heavenly bodies, find out about lunar science and expedition, and honor individual and cultural connections to the Moon.
