Playing the Reproduction Lottery: How Squirrels Gamble for a Better Future

Despite the everyday monetary costs of playing those numbers throughout that span, the benefit is substantial enough to make it a worthwhile investment.
Animals living in environments with extremely variable environments play a comparable lottery game with regard to their Darwinian physical fitness, which is a step of their ability to send their genes.
