Northrop Grummans Cygnus spacecraft, now set up at the ISS, brings considerable cargo and paves the way for ingenious clinical research study. This marks the businesss 19th resupply objective for NASA.
Northrop Grummans Cygnus spacecraft setup at the International Space Station is now total. Cygnus, bring over 8,200 pounds of freight and science experiments, released atop the companys Antares rocket at 8:31 p.m. EDT Tuesday, August 1, from NASAs Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. At 5:52 a.m., NASA astronaut Woody Hoburg, in addition to NASA astronaut Frank Rubio as backup, caught Cygnus utilizing the stations Canadarm2 robotic arm.
