Requirements and Preparations for Inaugural Flight

System Safety and Coordination
The workout, conducted by CNES and ArianeGroup under the lead of ESA, checked pre-launch treatments and ignition, and showed once again, that the system can be kept safe in case of a launch abort, as already demonstrated during the July 18 test. Fuelling and ignition was the most recent in a continuous series of tests to confirm that the rocket, launch pad, protective gantry, and all associated fluid and electrical connections work properly as a combined system.
