NASA astronauts Loral OHara and Jasmin Moghbeli took turns working in the Life Science Glovebox on Monday morning. Furukawa from JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) then joined the NASA duo for eye tests at the end of the day with assistance from physicians on the ground.

Science eye, hardware, and microbiology checks topped the research schedule aboard the International Space Station (ISS) on Monday, December 4. The Expedition 70 team likewise serviced a spacesuit and started unloading a brand-new cargo craft.
NASA astronauts Loral OHara and Jasmin Moghbeli took turns operating in the Life Science Glovebox on Monday early morning. OHara first detached cable televisions and cams that tape activities inside the biology research center located in the Kibo laboratory module. Moghbeli then swapped out the gloves that crew members wear when conducting science operations inside the device.

OHara likewise set up and stowed hardware supporting a space physics experiment that observes how microgravity impacts the properties of metal alloys. Moghbeli inoculated cell samples for the Bacteria Adhesion and Corrosion research study that is exploring how to recognize and disinfect microbes that can infect spacecraft systems and impact crew health.
Astronaut Satoshi Furukawa started his day servicing a pair of science freezers before cleansing and linking cables that support a 3D organ culture research study. Furukawa from JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) then joined the NASA duo for eye examinations at the end of the day with assistance from medical professionals on the ground. OHara operated the basic medical imaging equipment seeing the optic nerves and retinas of Furukawa and Moghbeli.

Leader Andreas Mogensen of ESA (European Space Agency) reviewed treatments for an approaching study to produce remarkable fiber optic cable televisions in microgravity. Later, he uninstalled parts on a spacesuit and prepared them for return to Earth aboard the SpaceX Dragon cargo spacecraft.
