Good News! One JWST Picture Early!

For everybody waiting with bated breath for Tuesdays release of the very first James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) images, NASAs doing a bit of a tease. Theyre launching one image a day early on Monday afternoon. And, the commentator will be the President of the United States, Mr. Joseph R. Biden. Joining him will be NASA Administrator Bill Nelson, who will perform this unique White House astronomy instruction. Its all part of the buildup to the big exposes on Tuesday.

For weeks now, weve been getting alluring hints about images from JWST so great they make astronomers sob. Simply last Friday, NASA and ESA announced the list of very first release images. So, what is so great that the President becomes part of the Big Reveal a day early? We can just speculate which image it is, naturally. But, it must be respectable if hes taking time out to commemorate with the rest people.
Or, will the first image be the deepest view of area ever taken? Thats what JWSTs image of SMACS 0723 guarantees. Of course, theres a huge planet out there, called WASP 96 b and JWST could be revealing something about its atmosphere.
