During an April 3 event near NASAs Johnson Space Center, in Houston, NASA introduced NASAs Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Hammock Koch, and the Canadian Space Agencys Jeremy Hansen, as the team for Artemis II. It will be the very first Artemis objective to fly astronauts around the Moon and back on NASAs Orion spacecraft, to validate the systems, abilities, and techniques required for people to work and live in deep area.

Hot Fire Certification Test of RS-25 Engine
Engineers at NASAs Stennis Space Center carried out a hot fire of an RS-25 rocket engine on April 5. It was the 5th hot fire of a 12-test series to certify the production of new engines. 4 RS-25s will assist power NASAs Space Launch System rocket on future Artemis objectives to the Moon.

Webb Scores New Image of Distant Uranus.
NASAs James Webb Space Telescope caught this new picture of Uranus that highlights the worlds remarkable rings and bright atmospheric functions. The information show Webbs level of sensitivity for the remote planets faintest dirty rings, which have actually just been imaged by 2 other facilities besides Webb.

Perseverance Collects First Mars Sample of New Science Campaign.
NASAs Perseverance rover just recently gathered and stored the first sample of the objectives latest science project. The sample came from a rock the science team calls “Berea” that lies near the top of Jezero Craters delta on Mars.
