Training Immune Cells to Be Cancer Killers

For Christian Hinrichs, an oncologist who leads the cancer immunotherapy department at the Rutgers Cancer Institute, the search for effective treatments is more than simply a fascinating scientific question– it is an individual one. It appears to be largely related to when the growths lose the ability to reveal the target antigen to the T cells that are assaulting the growth, so this is likely to be a constraint not only for our crafted cell treatment method with the E7 T cell receptor, but for other crafted cell therapy approaches too.What treatment are you establishing now?Interestingly, one of the clients who got TIL treatment had metastatic cervical cancer and all of her cancer went away.
