“TrekTalks” Telethon Calls upon Star Trek Fandom to Meet the Needs of the Many

I grew up viewing Star Trek influenced by what Trek pictured the future could be.
Humankind, in cooperation with other alien civilizations, explored the Galaxy on ships like the USS Enterprise doing good where possible. Star Trek is a view of what humanity could be if we were brave and vibrant however likewise understanding and kind– us at our best.
Recently our 21st century world has actually been … well … a tough place to be– harder for some than others. What if the Star Trek fandom could take some motivation from that thought of future to make modification in the present? This weekend is a chance to make it so with “TrekTalks”– a livestream telethon featuring an amazing lineup of Star Trek cast and team to benefit the Hollywood Food Coalition starting tomorrow (January 15th) at 11:45 am Pacific Time and going to 7:45 pm PT
