Will Venus finally answer, ‘Are we alone?’

That planet is Venus, the second world from the Sun, a hellish world with scorching surface temperature levels of roughly 475 degrees Celsius (900 degrees Fahrenheit), which is hot enough to melt lead, and squashing pressures greater than 90 times that of Earth. As recently as 2018, researchers proposed the possibility of life in the clouds of Venus, with NASA later on approving 2 missions in June 2021 to explore Venus in the 2030s, DAVINCI+ and VERITAS. The objective of DAVINCI+ will be to examine the evolution of Venus environment while likewise taking high-resolution pictures of the surface. The goal of VERITAS will be to map Venus surface in hopes of much better understanding its geological history.
” These objectives, together with the European Space Agencys EnVision mission, will open an entire brand-new chapter in our study of Venus,” stated Dr. Byrne. “VERITAS and EnVision will reveal the surface as never ever in the past, and DAVINCI will tell us of the previous climate history of the world.
