ChatGPT vs. Humans: Even Linguistic Experts Can’t Tell Who Wrote What

Based on this, Kessler and Casal concluded ChatGPT can compose short genres just as well as the majority of human beings, if not much better sometimes, given that AI normally does not make grammatical mistakes.
The silver lining for human authors lies in longer kinds of writing. “For longer texts, AI has been known to make and hallucinate up material, making it simpler to determine that it was created by AI,” Kessler said.
